The grass cutting has been suspended until the end of June to give the clover, daisies and other wild flowers a chance to seed. This period will also help the bees, butterflies and other insects to flourish which in turn will encourage the songbirds to thrive.

We thought that this was important now the adjacent field is no longer fallow.

Grass cutting will commence as normal in July.
